I worked construction during the summers growing up, so I am able to do much of the work myself with the exception of HVAC.After listening to many of the Podcasts it seems that networking is my biggest weakness and I have decided to start by joining this website and hopefully meet other investors, especially those currently dealing with the Atlanta area.I look forward to hearing and learning from you all!

Are you planning construction of an addition to the current units for example changing them from 2 bedroom to 3 etc..

I believe the police said that they are aware of a group of individuals who target construction sites with hispanic works looking to rob them.

The work will be in the eastern part of Southern California.I understand the feedback is/will be a simple rough estimate, but I could use some quasi qualified rough numbers to plug into my construction budget so I can hopefully get an offer out to the seller tonight.Thanks in advance for your feedback. 

I am looking to partner with my brother who has experience in construction in order to begin to flip and I also want to buy a property by the end of the year to live in as a house hack.

This is sort of a weird question but bear with me......I work for a builder and am also an investor on one of our projects - we do new construction spec builds in higher end areas usually between 1M-2M......we've been sitting with our house a little longer then we expected at this point - we dropped the price 70,000 from the initial listing price and am contemplating our next move if we don't get bites in the next couple weeks....my question is how much of a drop is worthwhile?

Here in the Washington, DC area we have several non-profit stores that re-sell donated construction materials and finish materials.

I do understand there are advantages for using preferred vendors as well, but given that it’s clear I know very little about real estate, insurance, and construction, I’m worried that we’re going to be taken advantage of.
