My microwave makes cooking a hot meal very easy for almost anyone.

@Alan Grobmeier The original kitchen had an 80's style combo oven, stove top and microwave that was all one unit and gas powered.  

I would estimate 3 top cabinets, 4 lower cabinets, and at most 25 sqft of countertops (quartz would be the first choice), and a new fridge, dishwasher, and oven/microwave.

Kitchenette: To add a kitchenette, you will need to install plumbing lines to the location of the sink and any appliances you plan to include, such as a mini-fridge or microwave.

Things like off-street parking, dishwasher, microwave hood, washer/dryer (instead of just hook-ups), allowing pets, fenced yard, etc?

The only other thing I'd say, is we stopped adding microwaves and changed it to only vent fans.     

Please note that these appliances consist of one big side-by-side, built-in SubZero fridge with matching panels; 3 (count them--3) built-in SubZero bar fridges, also with matching panels; 1 Dacor drop-in gas cooktop; a dishwasher; built-in double ovens; built-in microwave.

I never install garbage disposers, built-in microwaves, dishwashers, those stupid faucet that utilize only one hole in a granite top and you can't get them to stop from getting so loose they fall off and leak under the sinks, trash compactors, water filters, icemaker piping nor anything that is not absolutely necessary because the more you own the more you have to maintain.
