Regardless of what form of energy caused what percentage of lost capacity, even if 100% of wind in Texas was down the natural gas boosters should have been able to easily make up that difference (if they were operating properly), so it was obvious to me in this case that the blame being cast at wind, mostly from groups/news sources that like to blame wind for everything no matter what, weren’t telling the whole truth.

In lieu of repiping you could install a booster pump and that should resolve any pressure issues.Please note water pressure has no impact on habitability and actually many new buildings are built with low flow fixtures which are awful for those that like water pressure.
