Post: Semi Retired in 5 Years! (With 5 properties)

I just wanted to send encouragement to all the newer investors out there.

I own 5 properties, I live very comfortably, and I'm semi-retired from work at the age of 24. I just want to say to all the newbies out there looking for you don't need to take massive action. But it's important to take action regardless. House Hack. Buy Out of State. Live Below your means. You KNOW what to do. It's just time to freaking do it.

Simple not Easy. So go out and get it!

I was able to figure out Mortgage recasting as an option to lower my monthly payments on my original house hack that had a substantial amount of the principal already paid off. Basically made it so what was Cash flowing alright to Cash flow like crazy.

@Scott Kimberly

It is absolutely true. This is speaking from personal experience.

After I purchased my first two duplexes in Chattanooga, some basic networking allowed me to walk into a third deal in Knoxville within 2 months, seller financed and 22% CoC. So far my best deal.

Now Im struggling to get my first apartment building as a syndicator but I know that after this first one, the next will come, and then even more and more opportunities will open up. I just gotta get past that initial launch phase.

Post: Portland, OR Meetup.com Group - Come for coaching and mentorship!

Hello everyone!

My name is Vic and I live in Portland, OR and so that means that while I love where I live. It's harder to find great deals here that cash flow. So I personally specialize investing out of state in Tennessee.

In order to meet new folks and help newer investors who don't know or how to get started I've decided to make a Meetup.com group to allow newer investors come in and ask questions and get coached into buying their first deal. A variety of people will show up and please feel free to network with other more experienced people in different investment styles and learn from them.

I host meetups on the East Side, West Side, and even up north to Vancouver, twice a week Wednesday and Saturday.

Portland Real Estate Investing Network <-------- For more info on dates and location please click here!

THIS IS FREE ALL YOU DO IS SHOW UP! The only thing I will make you buy is quite honestly Long Distance Real Estate Investing by David Greene.

All I ask is that if you're hungry to learn, show me that you have questions, and that you will act on them.

Post: WANT: Loan Guarantors (Portland, OR) to work with new Syndicator

Hello Everyone!

I wanted to reach out to the BiggerPockets sphere and share my desire to find a loan guarantor who can help sign for a .8-2 million dollar property in my first syndication deal.

I have another loan guarantor who has been less than responsive to sending me Personal Financial Statements, Rent Rolls, and other pertinent info to get pre-approved. Which holds me back from underwriting deals, which means I'm at a complete standstill on accomplishing my goals to close on an apartment by end of year.

For any loan guarantors in the Portland, OR area. Let's please meet and sit down for lunch/coffee (my treat) and let's see if we're a good fit to work with each other.

I am very much in LOVE with the Tennessee market! Very diverse markets and definitely more landlord friendly in my beautiful home Portland, OR. Though I would never invest in here! Hah!

@Dulce Beltran Treat yo' self!

I love Teslas enough that the second I've gotten many more deals done I would buy it in a heartbeat. If the numbers work for you do it. In terms of depreciation, Tesla's I think are going to retain their value in the near to mid term. I haven't looked at used models much but I remember used models going for the price of a new model, but that was when they were first rolling them out so it kinda makes sense. He haven't had them out long enough to see their depreciation rate.
