I’m a realtor that manages the 6 units that we own as rentals. I’ve been doing this for 7 years. Our accountant has never said until now that I need to have real estate commissions to make our write offs more legit if we get audited. I’ve always thought by self managing that that is my business and I didn’t need any other income. It’s my understanding that most real estate investors do not have licenses so how can this be true. Any thoughts would be great!

I’m new to this forum. How can I get the info if you can’t post email addresses or phone numbers here?

Does anyone have a good Orlando Multifamily Broker?
