Congrats Derrick!

Thank you everyone for all the great information and contacts for Ohio investing.  My wife and I are also long distance investing in Ohio and this is greatly appreciated. 

I woke this morning consumed by purpose. I have spent months learning, networking, analyzing deals, and being mired in indecision due to analysis paralysis. Today that ends and we are making this statement for the world to see. So is this some weird and late New Year’s Resolution? Forget New Year’s Resolutions, we choose New Month’s Road Map. What do I see at the end of January’s Road Map? Ownership of a single family property in Toledo, Ohio and a multifamily property in Columbus, Ohio. I know where I stand today, and I know where I am going to be on January 31. I will make the path that connects them together.

I have to agree with @Aaron Montague, one of my favorite financial advisors always says to never do business with the three Fs, friends, family and fools. 

As for the repairs, have you had a contractor give you a quote?

@Marc Rice we had not looked yet at Columbus, but we will now. We are following David Greene's Long-Distance Real Estate Investing. So at the moment we are investigating the possible markets and forming connections for the possible team.

My wife Tameka and I are real estate investors from New Hampshire. We are working on creating a long distance real estate investing group in Toledo, Ohio. We are in need of contractors, property managers, lenders and agents who have experience in the Toledo area. Our focus is on single family properties that need light to moderate repairs. Once repaired we intend to rent or lease with an option to buy. We are looking to build long lasting mutually beneficial relationships with like minded people. Come help us improve Toledo. 

Several of the meetups I have gone to recently have moved over to zoom or other online systems. My wife and I are in NH and are interested in long distance investing in Toledo, OH. anything online we would be glad to attend.
