@Shane Ronay I was wondering the same thing! And regarding the mushrooming of courses...considering the fact that you're also responding to this thread on the EXACT SAME DAY I AM two years later - I wonder if this is going to be the next over-saturated market lol.

Whatever though - I want in before we get there!

Post: How to research which towns ban STR’s

Hey everyone! Is there a way to easily research which towns and municipalities restrict short term rentals? So far the only way that I have been able to discover this is by calling up the town… but maybe there are websites and resources to automate the process a bit more?

I'm in NJ and there seem to be quite a few towns including my own that do not allow Airbnb‘s or VRBO‘s… It's been pretty frustrating to find a house that would be perfect for it only to discover that it's legally not even possible. SOOO rather than finding a great house only to discover that the town restricts STR's, I'd rather find towns that allow STR‘s and look for a house there.

Thanks in advance for any insight!

If anyone ends up using them - definitely share your experience in this thread! Like the others here, I just found them via a google search but have never heard of them before (and can't find reviews). Their loans see average/good and I'll keep their info.. But I won't be using them for now.
