Thank you guys for the responses! Columbus was one of my top options but I just needed a little reassurance.  Will also look into the Cleveland market too!

Hey Big Pockets community,

I have a goal of one day joining you all as a real estate investor. For now, I am focused on my real estate education and learning as much as I can while saving up money to invest.

My question is, where should I place my investing money that I’m saving up. Should I just keep it in a regular savings account or is there other options out there that can help it grow until I’m ready to invest.

Hello

I currently live in Sacramento but plan on moving to the Shasta County area in a few months when I find a good property. Does anyone here have any connections or experience with the Shasta County area?

I am looking for a home to live in that I can add more value to in 1-2 years. Looking at hoping to add forced equity or just anything that can add value to the home while I’m living in it.

My budget is around 200-400k financing

Anything will be helpful

Thank You

Hey community!

I want to get started into real estate wholesaling to help me build capital so I can eventually invest into the other types of RE investments. I have zero knowledge of RE and was hoping you guys can point me in the right direction. Anything will help! Such as the best books, podcasts, mentors or just any advice in general.

I will be starting out in Sacramento, CA so if anyone has any experience with the NorCal market and can give me a quick rundown on it that would be great also. I have been listening to bigger podcasts everyday but just want to see what the community recommends.

Thank You and Happy New Year
