We've been trying to work with VRBO customer service for almost two weeks. It's a new account & listing. They say the issue is escalated but we don't get a clear answer, no ETA. It's just not a good communication.

I wonder if there's a way to escalate issues or report issues differently. Does anyone know?

This is turning out to be one of the worst customer support experience.

Hi,

We are looking to invest in the Poconos area, PA to purchase a STR. One of the properties is around $225K. After running this through a calculator - at 7% interest. The property seem to have <50% occupancy. At 15% down, the cash on cash is around -9%. Its clear that we will need to find a way to increase the occupancy rate, to be able to make profit. Question for the community: is this a good area & is anyone getting a good return on investment?

I live in Colorado and looking to invest out of state along with a business partner, possibly NC or GA.

I'm looking for a CPA or tax advisor recommendation to run through some strategies and validate them. Got a few different questions to go through - personal finance, bringing on an investor, LLC, and filing tax as an LLC when owning a rental property etc.

Hoping to get some recommendations so I can have a chat with them and potentially collaborate in future as well.
