@Jim S. Yes 12 ft as the rest of the building is pvc plumbing. Only this portion are cast iron.

@Bjorn Ahlblad I think I'll have to clarify further the scope of work, I agree it makes no sense why he would have to trench

Hi all! If I have 12 feet of cast iron plumbing, would you replace it or line it? What are the disadvantages of lining it? Plumber seems to keep pushing the lining of the pipe as it's cost effective and last 50+ years, however, he has to dig a trench to do so. If he does that, shouldn't he just replace it?

Can you send inherited M2M tenants a new lease upon closing?
