The SDAT website is where you go in Maryland to see who the property tax bill is going too/who is probably paying it.

Been looking at a vacant property and would like to track down the owner to discuss further.  The property is located in Maryland so I checked the SDAT website for owner name and mailing address and no luck, the mailing address listed is the same as the property address.  Tried to Google the name and no luck there either.

Anyone have any advise or other websites I could check out? 

How much did you spend on DM for the 3K mailers you sent out?

Thx @Jacob K. for the info, and the reminder about CA fees. I used to live in Columbia so I recall them now. I would be most interested in flips right now.  Would rather buy in a desirable neighborhood that I know I can sell, rather then taking a bit more risk w higher possible payoff at this point. Just until I get more knowledge base. 

Been trying to learn a lot over the past month via BP and a local meetup.  Would like to start looking at some properties in Howard, PG and Anne Arundel county MD but not sure who to take w me - real estate agent, general contractor, perhaps even a home inspector?  

Would a general contractor or home inspector charge you to view properties?

What kind of ROI do you think I can make in those markets?
