@Yonah Weiss that’s sounds great. I’m aware of Gary Vee’s Crushing It but the other one you mentioned. That sound like a winner in terms of what I’m looking for. Thanks so much

@Chris Coleman thanks for sharing. I should have mentioned that I’m not a syndicator so that will probably be of little.

I haven't been much for reading books on real estate although I've doing it for a while.  I'm interesting in finding a great book for the holidays.  What's your favorite book about commercial real estate, particularly multifamily?  thanks for all your input

Real networking is about finding real ways to make other people more successful.

Made me think of BiggerPockets. What do you think?

@Caleb Heimsoth btw my father also was an engineer like yourself and got into multifamily investing 40 years back. I grew up in this industry and wanted to get as far as I could from it for many reasons. As I grew older I was able to reap many rewards because of our family’s hard work and intelligence. For many years I managed properties but was kind of semi-retired (not all in) but now I’m all in and recently spearheaded our biggest acquisition ever of 828 units. Recent turn of events compelled me to start documenting and sharing our story and that’s probably why I’m here trying to podcast lol but more importantly it’s build relationships. Just a last side note... we are not syndicators (not that it’s a bad thing or anything) so I’m not looking for investors for our next deal.

@Caleb Heimsoth you’re right it seems everyone and their mother has a podcast now or is starting one. I don’t know what it will morph into later but at its inception about real estate, business and the game of life. It get chance to have deep conversations with others that hopefully provide value. I listen all the time to stuff and mostly it’s just a lot of talk and little substance. I hope to be different. Everyone has a story to tell and not all want or need to be famous. Not all are trying to sell something. Some really want to grow by giving back. Appreciate your insight. Thx
