Thank you for the helpful pointers. That is a really good point about the different groups that fit into this 55+ category. I appreciate the reminder that it takes time. I have been in the business for all of 6 months so sometimes I want to be farther ahead then I am.

I have recently decided that I want to focus on working with the 55+ demographic. I am currently working on becoming SRES certified. I have begun a marketing/outreach plan for 2023. This plan includes conducting quarterly seminars, building relationships with local care facilities and finding opportunities to host events for seniors in my community (i.e. Bingo, Dances, etc.). I am hoping with time to become someone that seniors and their children can trust with their real estate needs.

I was wondering what tips/suggestions you may have for marking to and working with this particular population (55+)?

Congrats! This is a huge accomplishment. As a new agent myself I can feel your excitement. Seems like you have been working really hard to get this first one!
