I got purchased first rental. How and where to I advertise to rent it? How do I run credit and background on applications when I get them?

When they use my average income my d/I is high. They won't use the rental income because I have no experience. Is this something others have dealt with? Is it easier to get financing as an individual or LLC?

I am just starting out and looking at buying a townhouse for a rental. I am looking around 200k range to try and get a better tenant. I know I need to look at hoa and taxes. What are other things I need to look at? How much should I save for maintenance and vacancy? Projected rent would be around 1550. Thanks

Welcome to Raleigh. I am new here and also looking to get properties in the Raleigh area. I am looking at town houses to get the maintenance low and rent faster. Is this a good idea for a newbie?
