Question about the third R in BRRRR - Refinance

When refinancing, I'm hearing about the seasoning period of up to 12 months. Are there ways around this? If I'm paying cash for my first deal and want to refi right away so I can get cash back to do another deal how should I go about it?

Hello, new investor here. I'm considering using Hometap for cash for our first investment property. Does anyone have experience or opinions regarding this? My credit isn't perfect, and I own my own business, machine shop, so income can look less than steller, however my wife and I have a lot of equity in our primary residence - so we though this could be a great option.
