I used OwnerRez (PMS) for over a year, and really liked it. Unfortunately, I started having repeated issues with Airbnb’s system not syncing properly with it (PriceLabs had no problems syncing). And since Airbnb is becoming less and less cooperative with Hosts, the most recent issue (Airbnb stopped charging any cleaning fees on my bookings) cost me over $1000, so I was forced to drop OwnerRez. I can’t afford to wait out fighting with Airbnb every month in hopes of resolving the issues. 😥

I've heard about it...but can't see anything scheduled for 2022. Anyone know anything about that? And has anyone been before? I'd love to know more! TIA.

@Eudith Vacio - We haven't been up to CHI much since COVID. :( When the weather gets a little warmer, I need to come up and do some neighborhood-walking. **LOL**

Newbie question: I'm working on my first "solo" long-distance STR investment, and need to be able to communicate virtually with my husband back home. What do you recommend as great "management" tools that will work starting out, but also allow me to grow-into...ie project checklists, team communication (ie Slack), etc?

I'm a list nerd and like to track everything, but don't want to waste my time with busywork creating my own spreadsheets & stuff. I want to utilize good productivity tools right off the bat, ya know?

TIA for your input. It's very much appreciated! :)

@Crystal Smith - Thx...I appreciate the affirmation that I'm NOT crazy! *LOL* I'll be sure to tell my husband you said so. ;) I just got my reapproval letters, and am going down to St Louis next week to look at properties with an agent. I'm totally psyched! *happy dance to Jesus*
