By law your limited to the 12%. But if a mortgage company really want to redeem you can add in others expensive to cost also. The cost to litigate and take you to court to force you to sign redemption is MORE then if they pony up and pay a little more then the 12%. Add in your time and inconvenience spent.

I have several tax deeds in Alabama for sale. You could rent out property for income or if you find heirs send them a informed letter and offer to buy their redemption rights out. Make a modest offer. Ms. Dense Evans has worked with me in the past with property deals in Alabama. U could rent out property or make it for low income housing. Many possibilities. It’s up to you.

Tax Deed property. Good investment for beginner or experienced deed property investor. Homesnap valued $51,000. Price less the 50 cents on the dollar. Will need " quite title action". No municipal liens, code violations , weed abatement on the property. Currently tenants not paying rent. Can evict or give tenants opportunity to pay rent. $633 rent amount was from rentometer taken from area. Email me if interested in this nice home with a separate garage. [email protected]
