Natasha.. I also agree with Ty and Maurice. I also am just starting out, and I would recommend getting a list from your local city hall/municipal building, and market to them, You would get a much better response and more potential deals by marketing.

@Nikki, I am also new to this, and have been researching and listening to the pod casts for about a month or more now. As for becoming an Appraiser/RE agent I am sorry but do not have advice on that; however When you have time listen to the pod casts. They have taught me a tremendous amount, and pretty much have been guiding me in a direction for me to start investing in real estate. I am now getting everything together, and plan on starting my search for my first deal in about a week.

If anyone has experience in wholesaling and can elaborate on that as well i get the basic concept of what it is but still a little confused on the details of like a step by step i plan on listening to the podcast today or tomorrow but would also like to get peoples experience on them wholesaling. My plan is to start here to get a little cash then to start flipping. Is it easier and cheaper to do wholesale deals rather than finding an investor/private lender and flipping right away?

So I have been researching on Flipping Homes / Wholesaling, and I am very interested in starting this. I get the whole deal of finding deals, marketing yourself, and turning the property over, but where I am stuck is finding investors. Does anyone have any tips on how I can find investors. I have already asked around (Unfortunately I do not know anyone who would like to invest in RE) posted things on Facebook / Twitter.
