If you do the BRRRR method, most of the rehabbing is considered capital improvements that would have to be depreciated instead of deducted. Is there any way around this?

Hi!

I have been watching the webinars where Brandon teaching how to use the calculators. We tend to use HELOC for our purchases and I am not quite sure how to run those numbers in the BRRR or the rental property calculator. Thanks for any advice!

I am in the same boat. I am in Skagit County, Washington State with 4 rentals (in personal name) and planning to obtain more. I am getting a lot of good advice and info on here about series LLC but I don't know if I am ready to take the plunge. Might be good to have to local legal and tax advice. I have reached out to my CPA regarding the issue but haven't heard back. Plus she doesn't specialize in real estate so I am thinking about switching to someone who does so I can be best advised.
