I'm a typical buy and hold SFR investor but I came across someone who wanted to sell their building. Anyone have any experience in selling an old bank? How would I even start to find a comparable on this?

Hello all. I am dealing with an older gentleman who is in bit of a trouble with his mortgage and looking to get out of his house. He claims the bank wants X amount for the house, how can i find out what exactly is owed? is there a way to negotiate with the bank?

I am a New Jersey resident looking for someone to help build a "tiny home." Does anyone in the area have any experience with this?
