I'm also a license HVAC. Goodman is not too bad. I never had an issue with them. Their warranty is as good as another other nowaday. If you're looking for a really good top of the line I recommend a Infinity Carrier but that come with a hefty price tag. I can install any brand but I usually install Payne. Check out the city website. They have a map that can filter crimespot and many more other things.

@Scott Schultz is right. Disregard what I said

City inspector will come out to inspect the property usually 2-3 week after closing. Just make sure there is no outstanding violation and it meet minimum energy conservation standards.
