I have been taking action by reading everything I can get my hands on, marketing on Craigslist, sending yellow letters and bird-dogging. Thank you for the information on Dealmakers Guide. @Karen Margrave That is great to hear. Let you ask you the one thing I keep hearing about. How is a new Investor suppose to learn in my own back yard when most of the seasoned Buy & Hold Investors are saying California is not the place to invest right now? I am learning about Emerging Markets and landlord friendly states, and the cost of living is lower. How do I cut my teeth on investing while learning in my own back yard?

@Karen Margrave I have check out the local meetups here in Orange & LA County. I have been to the FIBI meeting in Orange County with Kaaren Hall. I have been to the FIBI Long Beach with Mathew Owens, Fortune Weavers with Sam Weaver, The Benton Group with Scot Hunter, Prosperity through real estate with Steve and Robin Love, and Real Estate Investor club with Phyllis Rockower. I am receiving more information from being on BP. I like to shake hands and look people in the eyes. I like that BP is so helpful with information and I would like to see what other investors in our market are doing investing wise. I am going to be a Buy & Hold investor of multifamily properties. I would like to find a mentor that can assist me in my learning.
