@Steve Rozenberg Those are very good questions to interview PM candidates. However, from my experience though, they usually know how to answer them nicely without any problem. Then problems will soon surface right after they start to take over your property. Then you will be stuck! My strategy is have them add a clause in the agreement to shorten the initial term to month to month or 90 days and an option to cancel the agreement with a 30 days notice subject to their performance and my satisfaction.

What other cities in OH is Amazon coming in? Or just Cleveland?

I’m looking for some 20+ complexes. I used to live in Cleveland on and off for a few years about 10 years ago. I don’t know if the city is getting better or worse since I left. I’m not familiar with other major cities in Ohio but found some interesting ones close to the university and medical center in downtown Akron and Dayton. I would like to get some local knowledge before I jump right into it. 

@Cory Cutchall What areas would you recommend? I am mostly interested in multifamily complexes (20+ units)

Anyone familiar with the Omaha, NE? Is the Midtown Crossing a good area?
