HPD, DHCR, it's one big bureaucratic mess. Before selling a 2 Family in Glendale, I had to have it registered because it was a rental without any family member residing in it.

Good morning.  Regardless of which areas are hot(ter), be reminded that all multis needed to be registered with DHCR and they require a New York City address and phone # for a property manager that can be reached 24 hours a day.  This is a form that must be on file with DCHR.  Much success!
