I am reviewing a property in Euclid,OH and curious if being in close proximity to Lake Erie can negatively impact the house?

Specifically maintenance on porch floor boards and increased weathering.

thoughts?

What’s the avg cost to add bathroom, closet and kitchen. Any insights would be helpful.

Hi everyone,

I'm thinking of starting a weekly mastermind for investors considering Cleveland as a place to get started. A lot of people have the same questions and are just looking for some support as they get started. Let me know if this is of interest and we can start sharing resources, ideas, and hopefully highlight some wins.

 I would like to participate as well. Just closed on a duplex in Garfield Heights. Definitely learned a few things worth sharing along the way.

@Nicole Heasley Beitenman I’m a new investor but would be interested in participating if possible.

Hello BP! I am part of a 5-member mastermind group that meets Thursdays at 4:15 EST. This group was formed through the purchase of the BP Intention Journal, so we were randomly put together by BP. We've had 2 members drop out, and we'd like to bring some new life to the group. We have one member with no deals, one with 2 deals, and one who is somewhere between 2 and 5, I believe. We are all located in or near the east coast. If you're interested, please reach out!

I have found it super easy to reach out to whoever the company is. They are usually good at replying within a day or two.

Thanks,

When you say company, you are referring to the property management correct. Good idea

 I think he may have meant the utility company for that property, but an in-area property management company could help you with an estimate too.

 @Shane Kelly Thanks

Currently refining my comps metric and looking for an avg maintenance and utilities (water/sewer) cost for the Cleveland area. Assume property was built after 1900. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I agree. It’s crazy how even adjacent zip codes can command different rental rates.

 Hey Babatunde. Cleveland is a great area for cash flow and appreciation as long as you gain area knowledge or connect with experts in the area who can help. Many good cash flow neighborhoods are directly next to ones that are well...not so much.

Thanks for the feedback @Shane Kelly. I am starting to narrow it down by zip codes.
