@Kaylee Walterbach best way to save money is to spend less than what you make. With your active income you can create some passive income. This will allow you to continue to save and invest at the same time creating a compounding effect.

The agent is probably not familiar with this type of transaction. I doubt he is trying to push you out of deal.
