For what it's worth - In my pre-Bigger Pockets days, my daughter rented a home from Alabama Rental Property and it was a nightmare.  I'll spare you the details but I would not recommend them.

@Pat Heidingsfelder One long term rental in Brandon. One short term rental in Gulf Shores. Primary residence in Ridgeland. Looking for buy & hold (LTR or STR) anywhere in MS if the numbers work. Not opposed to Alabama & Tennessee as well.

Hello everyone. I'm an accidental investor... we have one SFH in Mississippi that was our primary residence. We didn't indend to keep it but we did and now it's a long term rental. We manage that property ourselves. Second investment is a condo on the Gulf of Mexico (damn you, Hurricane Sally). Our beach condo is a short term rental with property management. Now looking to invest more and hopefully be at a place in life where we can quit the full time jobs and relax a little by age 53ish - about 5 years from now. Getting lots of good information on these forums and the Facebook pages. Looking foward to contributing more, avoiding analysis paralysis and jumping in!

Love love love this thread!
