Quote from @Eugene Murdock:

Goodmorning everyone,

My name is Eugene and I'm from Maine. First day here and I'd just like to ask if anyone has been looking in Maine at the housing market. More so for the flippers. Lots of older houses on land that's in great locations and at more normal prices in retrospect to some of the markets you're currently working with. Also, new land. We have a lack of housing and plenty of property's going up for sale that are closer to 1k an acre. Great locations to put residential or commercial properties. Then on the other hand there's short term. Just saw one yesterday, 257k for 257 acres well wooded. Would make for a great glamping site.  Has a stream down one side and a smaller brook that runs across the property, already has a road in and a mostly clear area down in the property to place a cabin or whatever it is that you choose. Though in my head was place staggered A frames along the small brook and then along the stream side could be bigger A frames as well. There's a marsh/bog area as well that you could place a wood boardwalk around to make it walking friendly. The property sites 15 minutes from Bangor so all amenities one would need. Just food for thought. You can look at the property at United Country Lifestyle Properties of Maine. Have a great day everyone. 😊

Hi, I live in Bridgewater, Me and have 7 doors up here. I plan to add at least ten more units per year for the next ten years. The rental market seems pretty strong up here in Aroostook County. Not sure about flipping houses though. I think that would be a little harder right now but not impossible. Just have to watch your margins closely.

Hi, does anybody have any recommendations for a good CPA to use in northern Maine that is used to working with real estate investors? I currently have 7 units, working on trying to acquire another 19 units, and would like to add 10-20 units/yr for the foreseeable future. I've been doing my own taxes previously.

On a side note, where would the closest real estate investor meet up be? I haven't been able to find any up here. Thanks
