How to Stop Talking and Take Action

There are things we are all talking about things, things that we want to do, things that we're dreaming of, things that we're kind of doing, things we want to put out there into the universe. We visualize things, but, that is not taking action. Talking about something on Facebook or Instagram, posting pictures of things that you want to do and making your vision board (although, that is something I think is very important to do), is not taking action. Are you out there taking action to get those things? those items? those dreams?

Are you taking the correct action to take yourself to that place? For instance, if you're listening to this and you want to be in large multifamily and you're taking down your first three-family, six-family, or ten- family and you're slowly working yourself up into large multifamily, then yes, you are taking action. If you're flipping or you're wholesaling and you're thinking to yourself,

“you know, that's where the future lies, in large multifamily, that's where I want to be, I want to do that”,

Well, wanting is one thing. Doing, taking action, putting your money where your mouth is and actually going to a conference to learn more about multifamily, getting in contact with a mentor and learning more about multifamily, actually going and taking the steps to get there. See, that's where the action lies.


Take those steps. Do the homework. Take the action. Listening to podcasts (even our podcasts) is not taking action. It is a step towards it, I'll give you that. But taking action is actually reaching out, getting in contact with us, giving us a call or message, letting us know that you want to learn more. That's taking action. Taking action is calling the people that we've had on our podcasts, letting them know that you are interested, that you want to take the next step. Then you take the next step after that and you keep on taking the next step and the next step and the next step until you are dominating in this asset class.


That is action. That is taking action, taking enough action. You can then get to the point where you are dominating. You want to dominate here. So what are you going to do today? Are you going to just talk about it? Are you just going to read what I have written about it? Or, are you going to use your knowhow, use that phone that I know you have in your pocket or have in your hand to give someone that can help you take action a call or message. Take the next step and then take the next step, and then take the next step to build that foundation that you need, that you want in large multifamily because you know that this is the next step.
