Back on track in June
It is interesting that it has taken two months to get back on track from taking on the project earlier this year the first 3 months of this year. For this month I had 3 closings all in the first 12 days of the month, yea that is right I was pushing to get at least one of them to close last month to help with the numbers that month. Thus far I have had 13 closings this year and I have met the amount of money that I made all last year I have made in real estate transactions this year. I am excited about that! Things are looking up but what I am finding out it that I am on course to make this year what I made working for Trane back in 2007. Thus I have not made it over the hump yet. Two of the best decisions that I made this year was to purchase ZBuyer which purchased in the first month 3 leads that I have put under contract and two of them I have closed on, and the second thing was me working with a partner on these real estate deals. Having a partner in this business for me helps motivates me when things seem to slow down or gets frustrating. But this month I also found there is a down side to having a partner. I have had a couple of issues with this working with one of my partners. The latest was our disagreement on the closing company after we had the property under contract and I had order the title search. My partner wanted to and just told the other title company that the buyer wanted to go ahead and close. I was surprised that the title company completed the closing when I had the contract with another title company.
