My first Blog post of my journey this year

I have decided to start posting about my deals this year to be able to reflect at the end of the year and hopefully, see how far I have come financially.  I am not a newbie, at least I do not believe so.  I started investing back in 2005, yep that is right near the bust of the bubble.  Since then it has been a struggle for me in Real Estate.  Last year I focus on real estate investing and working as an agent primarily, but I only made $17k for the year.  On the positive side I completed more deals that year than I have ever done in one year, which was 18 transactions as a wholesaler, agent, or tenant locator.  Yes, I had to pick up side jobs and I started driving for Uber to try to make ends met.  But this year my goal is to double that income, this will allow me to breath again.  How am I planning to do this, well I will be wholeselling in my market, but I also have a new passion to put together the steps to wholesale in other markets remotely.  I have some experience and success with doing this back in my hometown of Memphis in 2013.

This January I have closed an agent deal and a wholesale deal.  As for February I have closed four wholesale deals so far this month.  In the largest deal that I have done so far this year I have noticed that I had over ten people wanting to make an offer on it.  Even though I had my first buyer back out of the deal, the very next day I had an investor to make an offer on it the next day an close on it the day after.

So I am excite about meeting my goals this year and possibly increasing the goals in the middle of the year.
