The New Year is upon us once again, and the tradition of the New Year’s Resolution is alive and well. As the year comes to its close, people are re-evaluating their lives to determine what changes they can make in the coming year to improve the quality of their lives. How you can improve health, relationships and your financial situation are always at the top of everyone’s resolution list. With the economic turmoil of 2009 there is definitely a focus on finances. As several economic sectors begin to show signs of improvement, employment in many industries continues to suffer. Many people have found themselves unemployed or even under-employed in the struggling job market. Training for the jobs that the recovering economy will have to offer is crucial right now. The trend for 2010 resolutions seems to be New Year, New Career; and a great career path going into 2010 is once again going to be in real estate.

Even for those who are currently employed but fear that the industry that they are in may not survive the country’s economic restructuring can continue to work and get their education and real estate license online at their convenience. Keep the security of the job that you have and get your license in real estate when you can fit courses into your schedule to get your real estate license. Real estate throughout history is an industry that although it may have slowed, has still generated more wealth than most other industries. With even very small investment of your time in real estate sales, you can quickly build clientele and generate enough income to make the transition into a lucrative career in real estate.

Real estate is among the top of the indicators of positive economic growth. Interest rates are at rock bottom. There are amazing real estate deals in cities all across the country. The housing market is stabilizing and people are shedding their fear and seeing the available opportunities. All of that along with the tax incentives for both first time and existing home owners alike together with home prices being at the lowest point that they have been in years has created a perfect storm for the real estate market. These amazing opportunities have created a flood of potential home buyers that will require licensed professionals to complete the sales. A career in real estate is about to have more prospects than it has offered in years. In some cases you could start now and be licensed and ready for clients before January is out. You could be earning commissions in a lucrative new career in less than two months time.

The generation of the new business is further strengthening the real estate market making this time of prosperity only the tip of the iceberg in this recovering industry. Home prices will begin to rise as the business generated creates equity in these new purchases. This new equity will generate even more business as consumer confidence in the real estate market begins to grow once again. The wealthiest people in the world have earned a large portion of that wealth in the real estate industry. The time is now to get your real estate license and be ready to collect your share of the commissions.
