Full Throttle - Nothing In Moderation

'Everything in moderation' is a saying that everyone has heard before. It is a nice way to not rock the boat in life or keep everything on the center line. When you step off of that center line and start move further and further away from it, you bring volatility and risk into your life. This is not always a bad thing if you know what you are doing. The greatest inventors and innovators of the 21st century and through out history tend to live their lives quite far from a place of 'moderation'. There is something to be said about a laser focus on a goal and pursuing it with every waking hour. Doing this can create great success but at times at a cost. Some people are more prone to living life on the edges as the obsession for success in a particular area fully consumes them. This can come at the expense of relationships, friends, family etc. If you find yourself as a person that likes to heavily focus on one goal, it helps to be aware of the other areas of your life that can suffer. It is easier said than done and each person will have their own tolerance for this. Finding a way to fully pursue your goal in mind while not losing quality of life or relationships is difficult. I am not an advocate for giving up meaningful relationships in a pursuit of success, but each person needs to decide how far they are willing to go in order to achieve their dreams.
