Are You A Buyer Or Seller?

I heard this question from a hard money conference speaker a few years ago and realized he was correct when he stated there are only two kinds of people in the world. He believed that there are either buyers or sellers. This doesn't mean that if you are a seller that you are literally selling physical items all of the time. It is saying that if you are a seller, you tend to be the one pursuading or leading more often than a buyer who is accepting and following. There isn't a right or wrong but it is important to know what kind of person you tend to be. In real estate you find a lot of sellers trying to sell to a lot of buyers. Sometimes when someone is selling a house to an investor, they are still the buyer and the buyer is the seller. This is because the personality of the buyer is actually steering the seller. This is confusing, but if you take a minute to think about it, it will make sense.
