How to Celebrate Memorial Day the 30A Way

If you don’t have plans yet for celebrating Memorial Day, head on to your luxury and enjoy your Memorial Day Weekend the 30A way!

On Friday, May 23, enjoy food, fun, and music at the Gulf Place Green n Santa Rosa Beach, FL, from 11:00AM to 9:00PM. Watch Hotel Oscar, a local favorite band, take the stage from 6:00-9:00PM. Shop for unique artworks and knickknacks from various artists and vendors.

On Saturday, May 24, choose from several events including the Seaside celebration, featuring live music and activities at the Seaside Amphitheatre. The Dirty Guv’nahs, featuring special guest, Light Pilot, will perform at 7:00PM. You can also take part in YOLO events and concerts in Sandestin in Baytowne Wharf.

Sunday, May 25, may be the end of the weekend for most people, but not for residents of homes along 30A. The party is just getting started with live music and fun happening simultaneously in the various beach communities along Scenic 30A.

Starting at 8:00AM, there will be a YOLO Board Mileage Builder Series happening at Baytowne Marina. A Memorial Day Paddle Party Restorative SUP Yoga will take place at South Walton at 8:30AM. Choose from a wide variety of Memorial Day Weekend Activities at Baytowne Wharf Events Plaza starting at 10:00AM.

For lunch, head on down to the Memorial Day Paddle Party Sunday Fun-Day Brunch at South Walton at noon. Don’t miss the Memorial Weekend Celebration at the Seaside Ampitheater which starts at 5:00PM.

Enjoy live music at Watercolor Inn and Resort at 6:00 PM. Head to Alys Beach to catch the performance of Sinfonia Goes Pops at 7:30PM. Even kids will enjoy Memorial Day with a variety of Kid’s Activities at the Baytowne Wharf from 6:00-9:00PM while the adults can enjoy live music from Coconut Radio from 7:00-9:00PM. Fireworks will light up the sky in Baytowne Wharf at 9:15PM.

On May 26, Monday, there will be a Memorial Day Program presented by the Sandestin Veterans in Baytowne Wharf, followed by a performance by Todd Sparks at 7:45PM.
