UPDATE: A busy life, "Life Hacking", and pursuit of freedom

Wow, I'm sure nobody noticed that I've stopped blogging (again), but I haven't stopped my REI adventure!

I'm on BP daily, but just haven't been very active in Posts.

Here is a little update on what I've been up to:

• Working Full-Time
  • I lost my sales support, again... So I've taken on a significant amount of responsibilities since.
• Decided to work with a new REI for my bandit sign marketing. I offered him a 50/50 split for joining forces.
  • He posts the signs and visits the houses to take pics and vids
  • I haven't had the time to post the signs or visit houses. It's better to get something done for 50% of the profits rather than having 100 bandit signs sit in your office for a couple months =)
• We've held two BiggerPockets meetups
  • One was ~5hrs long where we walked each investor through setting up their Gmail, GVoice, bandit sign designs, target marketing, Direct mailing, etc.
• I've finished 1/3 of my Realtor license class
  • Tues + Thur nights from 6pm-9pm and have to read two chapters before each class.
• 4-Hour Work Week (As a friend referred to, "Life-hacking")
  • I'm almost done! On page 370 of *405?
  • I check my work emails at 12:00pm and 4:00pm
  • I downloaded YouMail so I can screen all my calls then check them through the App (usually the VMails only require me to send an email back)
  • (As stated above) I've decided to partner with other investors to get some marketing out there.
• Acceleread (iOS App)
  • Just like it says, it trains you to speed read. I went from 225wpm/83% comprehension (Jan 4) to 439wpm/100% comprehension (Jan 26). GET THE APP!
• REILdeals.com (REI Tech Startup)
  • We've (my business partner/developer and I) started the creation of the Beta. To launch in Mid-February
  • Instead of listing everything that has been done with this so far... This is where I've spent most of my time over the last couple of months. I've been really excited about the progress and the people we've come across who are interested in supporting the vision. God is great.
• Software Creation + JenningsHP.com
  • Finished the website
  • Had a Virtual Assistant out in Vancouver create software to pull Cash Buyers from the MLS and put them into a Mailing list
  • Software can also create mailing lists for absentee owners, owners with equity, etc in target neighborhoods
• Created systems
  • Worked with a good friend of mine who I met through our BiggerPockets meetup on creating systems for our wholesaling business
  • He has since been doing virtual wholesaling and has been killing it on Craigslist with software he had created from the same VA in Vancouver
  • (I need to start implementing these same systems we created into my business soon! ha)
• Whoa... Let's stop the madness.

As you can see, there has been a lot going on.

I'll post a follow up blog post this week to share some tips that have helped me completely re-frame my life.
