Bio When Talking to Sellers

What is your bio when talking to sellers Phil Pustejovsky? What do you say you do? In all our years of testing difference approaches, we have discovered that the absolute best way to communicate who you are and what you do when speaking to a seller is:

"I buy houses here in this area, fix them up and then either sell them, and in some cases, rent them out."

Notice that there was no mention of the word "investor". The reason is, we found, that the word investor denotes money and wealth and that gave us a slight disadvantage when negotiating.

Thanks to reality television, everyone understands the concept of buying houses, fixing them up and selling them. It is easy for anyone to grasp. Your bio needs to always be in simple terms that anyone can understand. Freedom Mentor

You also don't want to sound like a big shot. You want to come across as a small time local family owned business that simply buys houses and fixes them up. This is exactly what I do. And if I do it, you know it must be a wise move. If anyone could brag about their real estate investing prowess, it would be me. Best selling author, national speaker, one of, if not the most recognized, real estate educator in North America, most popular YouTube channel in the real estate investing genre, and on and on. Freedom Mentor Review and Phil Pustejovsky Review is best found here. But NONE of that matters to a seller. They don't care about how successful you are. In fact, the more you puff yourself up, the more difficult it is to negotiate a great deal. Instead of trying to impress the seller, focus on saying just enough so that you don't set yourself backwards.

Keep your bio simple.
