Los Arqueros Property

The estate of Los Arqueros is situated in the foothills of the Benahavis mountain range and includes a golf course designed by the multi world championship golfer Seve Ballesteros. Around the course are many apartments and villas, mostly built by the Taylor Woodrow developer, who are a publicly traded company, recently improving their share price after some scary times regarding debt covenents with their bankers.

There are many different apartment developments within Los Arqueros and given the the quality of finish and the golfing ammenities onsite, they represent great value. Taylor Woodrow themselves are offering great discounts on the remaining units they have and private vendors are currently being more realistic when it comes to pricing. You can now get a decent three bedroom apartment under the magical €200k mark, that includes good quality cream marble, good windows and a Bosch kitchen.

There was also an influx of investors that purcased units here in the boom times that are looking to liquidate their assets. For cash buyers there are significant opportunities, as long as you are willing to dig deep into this development. Taylor Woodrow also appears to be getting involved in the fractional ownership market, however this seems to be proving difficult as only the very best, prime locations seem to be working on the business model.
