Increase in Real Estate Marketing on Social Sites

I have seen an increase in real estate agents posting listings on facebook over the past few months. Real estate agents are using facebook to market their listings to their social network base. This is a great idea. Even better would be market statistics showing that homes are selling and that interest rates are at their lowest in 40 years. The National Association of Realtors as well as RE/MAX Int are doing everything they can to promote the benefits of buying a home in todays market. Our office home sales have doubled over last years sales for January and February. I predict a great Spring and Summer in home sales and social networks like facebook are going to help us spread the word.

  1. The NAR was telling people that it was a wonderful time to buy when housing markets were off the charts as well, weren't they? I'd hardly put much stock in their recommendations.
