Real Estate Website Design tips

When designing your real estate website, there are things to consider that will make your website easy to navigate and understand and would reduce your bounce rate on your website.

Fonts

Make sure you never use more than three fonts. In fact, it is usually best to choose just one font and vary page appearance by using different font attributes like Italics, bold face, underlining and point size. Matching different fonts is a tricky job that is often best left to professional designers!

 Colours

Colour can make all the difference in the way Internet surfers respond to your site. Many new website owners want the fancy wallpaper as a site background. A clean white background, free of fancy background images, is always best. Leave the wallpaper for where it really belongs.

Graphics

Well-chosen pictures, graphics or creative designs can make your site very appealing. Choose graphics or pictures that fit the overall theme of the site. Always take your target market into consideration. Keep in mind that graphics may involve extra costs, not only during web page development but when you print your pages for distribution as flyers, open house handouts or direct mail. Also keep in mind what was mentioned previously. Talk to your developer about the graphics and their possible effect with search engine ranking.
