Homes in Minnetrista - Travis Senenfelder

Minnetrista, Minnesota is a rather large western suburb of Minneapolis. Situated on Lake Minnetonka as well as many others, there is plenty of room for lakeside realty. Minnetrista offers a very unique blend of rural and suburban life due to its proximity to the downtown Minneapolis area, the abundance of lakes and lakeside realty, and the abundance of 

land present. In Minnetrista the average homeowner owns about 13 acres of land. This is so because Minnetrista still holds onto its agricultural roots, there is still an active agricultural community thriving in the city. 

Minnetrista is a water lovers paradise. With over 5 square miles of lakes present in Minnetrista there is plenty of water to go around. For those looking for lakeside property there is plenty of that to go around too! With the multitude of 19 lakes in Minnetrista there are plenty of options and opportunities present. And for those who aren't looking for lakeside real estate but are still looking to enjoy the lakes on occasion, no problem! With multiple boat entries and public beaches on multiple lakes in Minnetrista, you can never run out of things to do on the lake. From fishing to water skiing, you can have it all on the lakes in Minnetrista. The lakes also provide for excellent scenery and beautiful landscapes. 

Now one thing that really attracts some to the Minnetrista area is the fact that there is really no downtown area in the city. Actually most of the city happens to be residential. This allows for the city to have a much more rural feel to it, even though it is only about 30 minutes from Minneapolis. This rural feel gives the homeowners a sense of freedom and serenity, peace and relaxation. A way to get away from it all but still be close enough to the inner city for short trips on occasion. Now the neighboring city of Mound does have its own downtown area filled with shopping and restaurants. So in reality you won't have to travel very far for much of anything and you still get the perks of living in a rather rural area. This is why Minnetrista is said to have a unique blend of rural and urban living.
