Top 10 Reasons to Hire a Property Manager

So.... you are a landlord and want to make mailbox money huh? Let me give you the top 10 reasons you need a property manager in no particular order.

1. 2 AM calls for water leaks

2. Better tenant screening

3. More knowledge and expertise in regard to laws, contracts, litigation, etc.

4. Evictions if needed

5. Year end tax statements

6. Owner and tenant online portals

7. Lower cost maintenance on your property

8. Rent collection/Monthly Admin

9. Usually discounted rates to sell

10. Hopefully good overall management of your properties.

Remember you want to be an investor..... not a property manager. Let plumbers plumb stuff and property manager manage properties!  Your focus should be on planning and looking for your next investment not managing tenants.

Here is a good local PM Company in Austin. www.pm512.com
