About me. The beginning of a beautiful journey

My name is Max Allendorf! I'm 27 years old and live in Littleton Colorado with my girl friend and I starting off in my moms basement. Only because the housing market here in Colorado is ridiculous and my girl friend and I are having trouble finding our first place. I am currently working to get my real estate license so hopefully I can use it to help my future dreams in real estate investing. I have got a very nice job as an ISA at a very respectable real estate agency in hopes of getting my feet wet a little in the real estate field. I am currently In the analysis paralysis stage on my dreams and seem to be finding myself doing more research on different types of deals out there than actually finding and executing goals. My credit is not in the best shape at this point but I have done a couple of different things to help my credit lately so I hope that can help in the long run. All my life I have been surrounded by a lot of negativity. I was an addict for the better part of a decade and am now clean and sober and getting my life back on track for the better and finally making right choices and seeing things much clearly. However I have wasted so much time with my past I am now in the process of making up for past time and accomplishing my dreams and testing my capabilities that I have always knew existed. If anyone has any advice or can help point me in the right direction of networking with people I would really appreciate it. I am recreating my entire atmosphere of people I surround my self from now on. to hopefully quote correctly the book The one thing, "you are the average of the 5 people you surround yourself with." I love the Bigger Pockets Community and everything it stands for and am very excited to start my journey towards a successful life :) I will be posting periodically on my progress. Thanks everyone!
