Hey guys . I'm a licensed real estate agent trying to transition into a wholesaler , I just finished reading this amazing wholesaling book, and it kept saying there is advantage to wholesaling when your a real estate agent, correct me if I'm wrong since I'm new to this career,I'm in New York , and I rarely see discounted deals on the MLS , and secondly as a real estate agent who understands other agents mindset , why would another agent want to split on a discounted deal with another wholesaler, ... how would that even work for me to assign or double cross this deal if the agent is already on the person representing the seller ? 🤔🤔

Yes there are lots of advantages to being a licensed realtor when wholesaling. As a wholesaler you are a transaction engineer. Your job is to help motivated and distressed sellers get a house sold to a cash buyer fast. As a realtor you can offer multiple options. If you cant buy from them you can list it or refer to another agent for a referral fee.
