So we have EVERYTHING ready to go on this 4-plex fixer upper I'm buying in Pasadena (yes, the one with the large lady). I can't tell you how many hoops I've jumped through to get to this point (a different story for a later time).

Anyways, yesterday (Friday, 2/19) was business day #11 (yes, 11) that my escrow officer has tried unsuccessfully to get a hold of someone at Chase that can tell her what the exact amount is to bring the mortgage current. We have an idea of the amount, based on the seller's last mortgage statement (October 2010), but there are still fees and penalties that need to be addressed. As of yesterday she has been given 7 names in 4 different departments, and no one seems to have a clue as to what's going on.

Unbelievable.
