im looking to find the easiest way or place to get a 1-800 number set up for my marketing...any suggestions?
I like using google voice...you can pick the area code and if there are any words in the number. Also you dont have to worry about paying for it ITS FREE and you can change your cell phone carrier and not have to print out new cards. You just change the number you foward it to. Thats how I started use a service now but still have my google voice number. Acctually I have several depending on where in the country I am posting my adds and marketing. Hope this helps.

yes google voice is great. I even have it set up with my cell phone to the point of my company name popping up and "special" ringtone. When I hear that ringtone I know it has something to deal with either a house im selling or a response to my letters
Kall-8 has toll free numbers for $2.00 per month, but it has to rotate to another number. I send mine to a Magic Jack number, which is around $20.00 per YEAR.

I don't use a 1-800 because I just use my number for local real listings. However, I do pickup a cheap prepaid phone and leave a detailed message about the rental unit or house for sale.
I then put up signs with this number outside homes. Bettern than having people calling my personal phone.
I use my personal # for lease options, but I just picked up a local # and a toll free 855 number as I expand to wholesaling.
1-855-311-sell !!
I got them thru freedomvoice, and it looks like they also run adtrakker.com so I may look at that at some point.
I too like google voice. Free, convenient, and easier to text from a computer. I had an 800 number when I started and got wayyy more calls (buyers and sellers) once I went with a local number. I think it just looks so much more personable. Motivated sellers want to deal with real people (especially if they are really distressed), not a telemarketer (which is the feel i get from an 800 number). I think buyers share the sentiment that speaking to a wholesaler who looks out for their needs is better than being a number on a buyers list.
I use a local virtual number from Ring Central and think it's better unless youre branding your 1-800 number. Ring Central is about $6 a month and you can get 1-800 numbers if you want.
I'm going to use my google voice for voicemail only, to help me avoid wasted time.
How do you set it up NOT to ring your phone, but to take them directly to voicemail?
Is that the "do not disturb" feature?
