Custom Shirts With Logos
Can someone recommend a good company for making nice polo shirts with our logo on them? We are not trying to pinch pennies for the exercise and we want them to look nice to advertise our company.
Do people generally have to supply logo designs in a certain format for the designers or will any standard format do?
Try logowear.com thats what my company uses, and its good quality stuff.

Jimmy - I went to the site and it doesn't look to be any kind of working store. Are you sure you've got the URL correct?
I found it Josh...no "www"
I've used Lands' End. Good quality and selection.
Yeah lands end is another good one we use that one also. I just couldnt think of the name till I saw Jons post and saw the catalog sitting under my printer
I use ideas in action. http://www.ideasinaction.com/
They are a Texas company :)
Most graphic design work is generated in vector format and will commonly be an .ai (adobe illustrator) or an .eps file. Vector graphics can be scaled up or down without loss of quality whereas jpg or gif files cannot in print work.
Your WA logo will most likely be embroidered on the shirts and any embroidery shop should be able to convert any file (including jpg) using their software. Most shops carry high quality polos if you wanted to keep your business local rather than get them from Lands End.
Side note: Anyone looking for a logo? I'd recommend 99 designs http://99designs.com/logo-design/store (I'm not affiliated) for a professional logo design for yep, 99 bucks.
Yeah...I am actually going to get 99 Designs to do another logo for me for a consulting business I am going to start now that our coaching program is gone. I have heard of them.
Regarding the vector format I actually had to get my logo redone in that format when I put together a webinar last year. The deliverables sent to me by the artist that designed our logo didn't have that format. Can I use a .jpg or .bmp or some such? The vector file doesn't look as good as the others do.
I just checked with zazzle.com and they support .jpg, .gif, .png and .tiff for their t-shirts that are printed. For embroidery they have to convert the image into a digitized format and there is an extra charge for this service.
For polo shirts, you'd definitely want embroidery.
Okie dokie...so I need the vector format for the embrodiery?
Bryan,
Do you still need help with getting your logo in vector format?
In addition to a real estate investor, I'm also an experienced logo designer and used to working with vector and non-vector artwork.
If you need assistance, please let me know.
Hi Phil...yeah...we never ended up doing the shirts. I am interested in talking to you if you can help.
