Direct mail
Hello all.
An other quick question.
I know that direct mailing does not give immediate results. It takes time and perseverance/consistency.
But isn't the whole point of targeted lists to find people that NEED to sell their house fast?
If it takes 6 months to convince anyone to sell their house, how distressed are they really?
I always thought you would mail 2000 card, and then sit back and let the leads come in. Just recently has a user here pointed me to some posts and now I see how it really works.
But it doesn't make sense to me as stated above.
Input?
See here is my dilemma.
My plans were to stay one more month in CT to try out the market before I move back to FL. (I already paid my rent for Feb). If I go back to FL I will never know how it would have been if I tried it here in CT.
But now of course that plan is going to heck because I would need to invest 6 months into marketing. And staying in CT means I would have double rent to pay.
My criteria for staying here was, if I can get 1 deal in this month I would stay. So now I have a tough decision to make.
