Investment Info:

Single-family residence other investment in Shenandoah.

Purchase price: $200,000
Cash invested: $60,000

Live and flip property initially purchased with the intention of buy and hold but change strategy to learn more about rehab. We have definitely learned a ton and put way more money than anticipated so we will loose money on the deal but we don’t regret it.

What made you interested in investing in this type of deal?

opportunity to learn rehab while enjoying a home!

How did you find this deal and how did you negotiate it?

On the MLS Using an amazing realtor!

How did you finance this deal?

Conventional Loan

How did you add value to the deal?

Rehab it from a 1970’s home to a modern living space

What was the outcome?

TBD

Lessons learned? Challenges?

Don’t fully trust GC and a live and flip is not the best strategy to make money (emotions get involved)

Did you work with any real estate professionals (agents, lenders, etc.) that you'd recommend to others?
