DC investor/contractor
Hey there,
I'm an investor and builder in the greater Washington, D.C. Area. I'm looking for a condo or town home to invest/fix up for myself to live in and eventually rent out. I already have cash/financing and means to update and do the work myself. I can't seem to find a deal. Looking in the adams Morgan, foggy bottom, u street, 14th, Columbia heights, or DuPont area. I can spend up to $600k and plan on spending $30-50k to fix up. I've had no luck on MLS, is it best to go after old listings that couldn't sell, write letters, talk to neighbors? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
